Our volunteers give their time and talent for a number of reasons. One, of course, is that they like the good feeling they get from helping others. Many volunteer to develop job skills or to add to their resumes. Some want to meet other people. Whatever the reason, the gift of time is a valuable one for Rapid City Regional Hospital.

• Volunteers can have a free meal or snack in our cafeteria while volunteering at the hospital.
• We provide flu shots for volunteers in the fall of each year.
• Volunteers have full use of our Valet Parking.
• Our Gift Shop offers 25% discounts on the volunteer's birthday.
• Volunteers receive a RC Chamber of Commerce Gold Card, good for discounts at a variety of businesses throughout Rapid City
• The hospital sponsors a number of social events every year for volunteers.
