CT scans have become the most commonly used tool in the imaging arsenal. Other
than a few exceptions (breast diagnosis, obstetrics and soft tissue structures
in joints), CT is most often the procedure of choice.
CT scans are also used to perform a coronary artery scan, or Heart Score. This
test is a non-invasive, effective, and safe way to detect coronary artery
calcification in a matter of minutes.
