A fully integrated medical transport team offers rapid access to emergency rotor wing (helicopter), fixed wing (airplane), and critical care ground transportation.

• Landing Zone Guidelines

The Black Hills LifeFlight team consists of adult and pediatric nurses and paramedics, neonatal nurses, high-risk labor and delivery nurses, and experienced pilots. The flight team has the highest level of training and certifications and has the most up-to-date equipment possible to respond to nearly any situation. They work closely with Rapid City Regional Hospital Emergency Department and physicians to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
