Occupational Therapy
The goal of Occupational Therapy is to increase independence in
Activities of Daily Living including: dressing, bathing, personal
cares, eating and homemaking. Our therapists provide specialized
assistance in learning or re-learning skills, stress management, and
treatment for hand/wrist injuries. They provide adaptive equipment,
fabricate custom splints, evaluate for specialized seating needs, and
provide home environment assessments prior to discharge.
Occupational therapy at Sturgis Regional Hospital provides
services to inpatients, outpatients, long term care residents, and home
health care patients.
